Solid brass. Classic bud vase silhouette — footed base, full belly, long neck, flared lip. The proportions are unhurried.
The base shows lathe marks from turning, which is how you know it’s solid brass worked by hand, not cast or plated. No maker’s mark. The kind of object that passed through a lot of hands before it got here. One stem. One branch of something from the yard. A table that needed something vertical.
No dents. Normal patina for age — polish it if you want it bright, or leave it as is.
Approximately 6 inches tall.
Apple, glassware, and plate shown for styling, not included.
